Drywall screws (self tapping screws) are the main fasteners used to fix gypsum boards in indoor decoration, especially suitable for ceiling and partition construction.During installation, it is necessary to use fine thread dry wall nails (suitable for light steel keel) or coarse thread drywall screws (suitable for wooden keel), with a length of usually 25-35mm (single-layer board) or 38-50mm (double-layer board).During construction, screws should be evenly inserted into the keel at a spacing of 15-20cm, and the screw's head should be slightly recessed (1-2mm below the board surface) for subsequent coating coverage.For the ceiling, it is recommended to increase the spacing to 10-15cm to enhance load-bearing capacity; A distance of 10-15cm should be reserved at the edge of the partition wall to avoid cracking.Normal use of black phosphating drywall nails can be replaced with galvanized or stainless steel materials in damp areas such as kitchens and bathrooms to ensure long-term stability.
